Manufacturing salvia extracts

Hello my readers, now that I'm the manufacturer of the production of salvia divinorum extract I will tell you a story about a mistake I made while working.

The equipment to extract Salvinorin-A is a professional grade one, we have lab glassware usually called "Pyrex", which is more chemical resistant than regular glassware, and it's also resistant to rapid temperature changes, or at least that's what I thought.

We have 2 extractors made of glass, fairly big, but light enough to carry it with both of my hands. We must wash both of them each time after we are done with an extraction.

Of course with that amount of orders, you have to wash it fast to get it ready for the next salvia divinorum extraction. Sometimes the equipment is still a little hot when I empty the glass container of our extractors. Unluckily I accidentally knocked the container on the table strong enough to create a crack in its base.

I was astonished that it didn't happened before, because I used to accidentally hit those glass recipients with at least the same strength a lot of times, but this time it cracked.

After thinking thoroughly about that event, I think that the reason for the fracture was the temperature of the glass, which it was warm when this happened.

From now on I'll let them cool down, don't care if it takes longer.
